and storytelling is my life's work. I'm a veteran multimedia creative with an emphasis on journalism and a background in TV news broadcasting, digital content, and photojournalism. I translate complex, real-time information into compelling, audience-focused content across linear, digital, and social platforms. My work is fact-driven and solution-based, with a focus on culturally relevant storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences. One of my goals in the journalism world is to connect traditional newsrooms and digital platforms, reporting with balanced, informative, and inspiring storytelling in a beneficial and effective environment conducive to diverse learning. When I'm not working on projects as a journalist, I'm usually working on projects as a visual artist, catching a Saints game on TV or a second line in New Orleans, and bonding with my husband and son. I'm a proud HBCU graduate, wife to my husband, Lakeith, Sr., #boymom to my first and only child, Lakeith, Jr., #dogmom to my baby Kaine, New Orleans native, and a die-hard Saints fan currently residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
